Vincent McGowan, vice president of Tom Fox & Associates, is a real estate entrepreneur and property manager who has conceived and implemented numerous business, government, and community projects. Vincent is a licensed real estate broker who has operated a number of successful businesses in Manhattan and owns a real estate firm in Larchmont, New York.
Mr. McGowan was assistant director of Battery Park City Parks Conservancy, responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, programming, and horticulture of the public spaces in this 92-acre site in lower Manhattan. He directed a full-time staff of 84 and seasonal staff of 52; overseeing the $19 million annual operating budget. Prior to that, as vice president of management and operations for the Hudson River Park Conservancy, Vincent oversaw property management, maintenance, and public programming for this 4.5 mile, $450 million park.
Vincent is the founding president of The United War Veterans Council which hosts major veterans’ events, such as the annual Veterans Day Parade. As vice president of Manhattan Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Plaza, Mr. McGowan oversaw the $7.2 million renovation of this important monument.
Mr. McGowan received a BS in History and Political Science from Fordham University.
